FQHC Delivers Quality, Coordinated Care with HIE
Finger Lakes Community Health, comprised of eight centers throughout seven counties, is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving patients in their region with a full spectrum of medical and behavioral health services. Utilizing the SHIN-NY primarily through Rochester RHIO, Finger Lakes Community Health is able to provide better informed, coordinated care for their patients.
During these uncertain times, access to important clinical information helps to support providers with the most up to date information about their patients, resulting in the most comprehensive and timely care possible. Listen as Finger Lakes Community Health Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Jose Canario and Chief Quality Officer, Ellen Hey, NP, speak about how the SHIN-NY has enhanced the care they are able to provide to patients and their families.
“It's going to save you time, it's going to enhance your care for the patient, it's going to enhance your quality measures. It is good patient care to have this type of information readily available."
Dr. Jose Canario
