NYeC is pleased to announce that the initial set of policy and technical requirements (sometimes referred to as Version 1.0) for the RHIOs [0] and CHITAs [0] participating in the HEAL NY Phase 5 Health IT grants program have been approved by the NYeC Board and the Department of Health (DOH).
The Version 1.0 requirements are the work products emerging from the Statewide Collaboration Process [1], facilitated by NYeC, through which all the HEAL 5 awardees, together with many other stakeholders, have been collaborating in work groups to set common policies and standards. Before going to the NYeC Board and DOH, the requirements were reviewed by the NYeC Policy and Operations Council [2] who issued their comments and recommendations.
