NYeC is facilitating the Statewide Collaboration Process (SCP) through which several multi-stakeholder work groups are developing key policies, technical requirements and operational assistance for the HEAL NY Health IT program [0]. There are four work groups:

Develop clinical requirements, identify workflow issues, and advance policy recommendations to help drive and test the development of policies, protocols and standards for New York’s Health Information Infrastructure, including the Statewide Health Information Network for New York [0], electronic health records [0], personal health records, and clinical informatics services.

Mission:
- Support the deployment of electronic health records (EHRs [10]) in current and future HEAL projects to demonstrate and catalyze realization of transformative value and improved health care quality, affordability and outcomes across New York. Facilitate development of associated policies, standards, technical approaches, and services necessary for successful and sustainable adoption of inter-operating electronic health records across New York.
