This RFP launches the first phase of a two-phase process. NYeC’s plan is to approach its HEAL 10 work as consisting of two broad components: (1) design, planning, convening, oversight and evaluation, and (2) building, implementation, and operation. The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals from vendors for the design, planning, convening, oversight and evaluation component of the work. Specifically, it requests proposals in each, any or all of the following four categories:
- Clinical Priorities
- Protocols and Services
- EHR Adoption and Use
- Legal/Privacy and Security
Further details on the scope of work for each of those categories and instructions for applications are included in the RFP. The deadline for proposals is Friday, October 9, 2009.
NYeC is required under the expected terms of its HEAL 10 contract to undergo competitive bidding processes for all the contractual services it engages under its HEAL 10 contract. To ensure maximum exposure for this RFP process, NYeC is sharing this RFP broadly with regional and national distribution lists. Please forward this RFP to any entities that you believe might be interested in applying.
